The beginning in 1972…

It started with a dream, a vision, and one truck…   

Larry Edwards ambition was to provide waste management services to the residents of Northern Virginia.  If you have lived in Northern Virginia over the years, you may be familiar with AAA Disposal Services, you can still see their trucks and containers on the road from time to time.  He believed in hard work, dedication, and commitment not only to the residents, businesses and communities that were serviced, but also to his employees. Throughout the years of service, AAA Disposal Services became not only the number one hauler, but the largest waste management company in Northern Virginia.  AAA was the first company to provide 95-gallon wheeled trash carts with the attached lid, to the residents they serviced.  He continued to follow his vision and dream for 25 years, before retiring.    

While in retirement, his devotion, adoration and passion for the industry did not fade, in fact, it only grew stronger.  In 2000, he, along with a close friend and business partner, started a second waste management company called American Disposal Services. They owned and operated American for over 18 years, providing trash and recycling services to all of Northern Virigina, Georgia, and Colorado until 2018.

Evergreen Disposal Services: Born and raised in the waste management industry, along with working for the family business throughout his youth, Larry’s eldest son, had his own desire to start a business.  One vision, one truck… It began back in 2008, he, along with his business partner, started a waste management company called Evergreen Disposal Services.  Providing trash and recycling services to the residences and businesses of Calvert County, Charles County, and St. Mary’s County in Maryland. Throughout the years, our hard work, dedication and desire to provide excellent service has allowed us to be become one of Maryland’s most pivotal, reliable, and dependable waste and recycling removal services in the area.

Of course, without our office and field employees, none of this would be possible.  Our management team has the business background and service-related experiences that date back over 3 decades in the waste management industry.  Some of their deep seeded roots go all the way back to AAA Disposal Services and American Disposal Services service history.  You will not find a team more qualified in the industry.  They pride themselves on service and customer satisfaction.
